AFTER SUICIDE - THERE'S HOPE FOR THEM AND FOR YOU - CHRIS ALAR, MIC AND JASON LEWIS, MIC

<BR> AFTER SUICIDE - THERE'S HOPE FOR THEM AND FOR YOU - CHRIS ALAR, MIC AND JASON LEWIS, MIC

Addressing the hard issue of suicide simply and pastorally, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and Jason Lewis, MIC, draw from the teaching of the Church, the message of Divine Mercy, and their own experience of losing a loved one to offer readers two key forms of hope: hope for the salvation of those who've died by their own hand, and hope for the healing of those left behind. This book is a must-read for all those trying to make sense out of such a difficult subject. Remarkably, the spiritual principles of healing and redemption apply not only to a loss from suicide, but by any cause of death. 227 pages, paperback

This book has helped so much… helping to heal my broken heart & to know that God forgives those who are mentally ill. Yes, God is a loving & forgiving God & these prayers are the key to help those we have lost.

My wife died by suicide in 2010. There is no other suicide book that talks about where or what happens to the ones who took their lives. Where are they right now? Most suicide books are analytical and explain the grief and how to deal with the aftermath for survivors to make them feel ok. No other book out there on suicide talks about the soul of the person who killed themselves and is there still hope for them. This book explains from a Catholic perspective that your loved one is not automatically in Hell. The Catholic Catechism says that there are mitigating factors and that they can still be saved. Further, the book gives hope to your loved one you lost and yourself and to know that what you do now while you are alive matters for both their soul and yours in eternity...
